Holding a Ph.D in Technology of Natural Fibers and Polymer Materials at University of Girona from Spain. In addition, he owns a MSc. in Integrated Management for Agricultural and Rural Development from Royal University of Agriculture (RUA), Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Currently, in addition to function as a member of BTIC, taking care of the electrical and energy engineering aspects, he is also a lecturer at RUA and a Secretary of In-country Director, Project of Appropriate Scale Mechanization Consortium for Sustainable Intensification, RUA, Cambodia. Prior to hold these positions, he was Coordinator of research project managed by People In Need (PIN) where he supervised undergraduate students of RUA whose research interests were in line with Biogas residues utilization. He has expensive experiences in research and development management and his research interests focus on fibers characteristics of industrial crops and products.
